 Asset Building Committee
The Asset Building Committee has recently been re-energized and put together a two-day conference in September around Asset Building. The conference was generously funded by the Western New York Women’s Fund, Community Foundation of Greater Buffalo, and United Way of Buffalo and Erie County. The committee secured national speakers to present at both sessions.
On the first day of the conference (September 18th), the committee planned some special events for the foundation community as well as Executive Directors from local non-profit organizations in order to both increase understanding of asset building and ensure that funding will be available for these activities.
The second day of the conference (September 19th) was an all-day conference open to anyone interested in learning more about asset building especially non-profit practitioners, employers, and governmental representatives.
