 Financial Education Committee
The Financial Education Committee has been very busy over the last couple of months. The groups’ accomplishments include:
- Completing a series of digital access recordings of financial education workshops including (Please note: This requires use of Windows Media Player):

Talking Credit
- Completing a full committee review of national financial literacy standards to determine local standards;
- Engaging in a Training/Technical Assistance session with Inger Giuffrida, a national expert in financial education and asset building;
- The creation and dispersion of a survey of financial education programs in Buffalo and Erie County and on going intake and analysis of which will produce a detailed report for the community;
- and the Launching the CASH Coaches, a one-on-one financial mentoring program.
